Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Another bizarre scenario with a late called strike 2 resulting in a double play
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Dodgers strike first with a solo shot from Teoscar Hernandez
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 I can't believe anyone is defending not using ABS at this point.

Ha. Dodgers get yet another gift from the plate umpire. (No double play, just a pick off. One out.) But the umpire did call a strike right away. We all heard it. But they misinterpreted his delayed arm motion as take first base. Should have been ball 4 anyway if there was any justice. Blyleven2011 and Vanimal46 2

Bichette was sleeping at the wheel regardless getting picked off at 1B h2oface 1

Chances are very low to be successful, but it can happen. It never happens if you just quit. And another example of how a bad call severely affects the game. Toronto should have 1 run.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Perfect throw from RF to gun down Freeman at home plate Blyleven2011 1
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Wish Barger was our Right Fielder! Blyleven2011 1
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Tommy Edmond miscalculating the bounce off the dirt and lets it go under his glove. Toronto rally!

Barger did throw a perfect strike to home , nice play ...

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 I've got to imagine this is Glasnow's last inning with a fully rested bullpen in their arsenal. This game is far from over

I doubt Roberts will go to him until late. Check out the Sept 6 game against the Orioles when Yamamoto took a no hitter into the 9th. Yes, all year the pen has let them down so often. Like game 1 in WS.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Old friend Ty France getting a PH for George Springer who was hurt on his last swing
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Well, old friend Ty France has a strikeout in the 2025 world series, but it's not exactly fair to him coming up cold off the bench with 2 strikes. He worked the count full so I'll give him that
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Holy aggressive baserunning by Vlad Jr and he scores from 1st! Blyleven2011 1
