I hate the Packers.

It sucks that Jerry Jones tilted the scales in the Packers' favor as NFC favorite. Gary and Parsons is the best edge rushing combo in the league now.

I also hate the Packers.  I hate even more that they're built the way I wish the Vikings could build; by successfully drafting, and building a young team so loaded that they can trade 2 first round picks and hand out a mega-contract for an elite player.

Also, for what it's worth, the Vikings gave up not that much less draft capital to acquire the right to draft Turner (the Packers will convey two picks, most likely in the high 20's or even low 30's, while the package of picks the Vikings surrendered to get from 2024 pick 42 to pick 17 grades out as somewhere in the pick 14-18 range in a generic draft).  It would have been impossible to predict that Parsons would come available, but it would have been nice to have a little more ammo to have made that move, or at least drive the price up for the Packers.

Parsons also cost them Kenny Clark and a huge paycheck. Parsons AAV is 47m. This year the Vikings are paying Greenard, AVG, Allen, and Hargrave 47.9m. But I'm not worried about them being better - they're not. I just hate them. It sucks that the NFL gave them a Thursday night home game against a good team since home teams are massive favorites on Thursday games.

Whoever loses this Bears Lions game is digging a hole they may not get out of. 0-2 and most importantly, 0-2 in the NFC North.

The Cowboys are lucky they have one of the best kickers of all time, that game is headed to overtime. Ridiculous game!

Teams have to stop playing soft defense with these kickers able to hit from almost midfield at this point

Hurts still isn't a very good passer; a good run defense that can limit those big runs can still take them down. That's a big ask, I know, but it looked like the Rams were going to take them down in the playoffs last year.

Even if no one can this year, Barkley's 345 carries last year and nearly 29-years of age are going to hit the cliff sooner rather than later.
