Bad day at the office , twins took the field but didn't come to play  ...

Lots of fire Rocco and falvey today and I'm right there with them ...

As am I.

Glad I stopped paying attention when I did.

Still have four more at home against these White Sox.

They will still manage to lose the season series but thanks for bringing it to my attention  , maybe the white Sox will close the gap by the time we play them and sink us to the bottom  ...

Think about Grey, Ryan. And Lopez.  ...pretty good top three starters...but Rocco would not manager them well.   My feeling is that Ryan would prefer to leave at the end of the year...

I agree wholeheartedly regarding Joe Ryan.

I truly cannot see how anyone can look at this team's performance the last year and think that retaining Baldelli is a sensible notion.  He has clearly lost the remnants of this team.

What could hurt in trying to get some new voices in the organization at this point?  They sure are not going anywhere.

They've had there chance and there is no chance they will get the window of opportunity opened again , they are losers and will never bring any sustainable baseball to the Minnesota fans ....

If I was twins owner and after falveys deadline trades of showcasing 4 of the the acquisitions and saw no better results , most managers and front office personal would have or shoukd have been fired by other organizations  ...

Sell the team , fire falvey and Rocco  ....

Somebody on the Skor North show compared Falvey to the Michael Scott character from the show The Office...no idea what is happening....difference is that show was interesting to watch

Span can stop talking anytime now.

Right...and I don't know why he's so irritating. He's knowledgable, and all, but his tone is kind of grating--like everything is some grand pronouncement or something, you know, like it's delivered from the mountaintop. Is that the problem? Maybe it's just me?

I'm legit looking for a second team to start supporting. I'll take suggestions too

Cubs and Brewers race is shaping up to be of some interest (potentially) these last weeks...pick one?

I've lived in San Diego for a bit. Been to petco park for a game. Was fun as hell

Great experience...can Target Field ever get rocking like that?

I started cheating on the Twins in June. Just once at first. It wasn't planned, it just happened. I felt guilty of course but once I opened that door... well you know. Eventually I felt guilty enough to have the difficult conversation with TC "I don't want to break up but I want to see other teams". It's actually been easier than I thought. It's been quite freeing to spend time with other teams that have something to give and not just take.

Actually I grew up (60's) hating the Yankees and I choose the Twins as my team in 1961 because I tuned into a Twins / Indians game and the Twins were behind. It was then I decided I'm for the underdog.
Recently I've been a little partial to the Red Sox because they have been in fight at times, but still somewhat of an underddog, and I like Fenway. In June I watched them take 2 of 3 in NY then the following week 3 or 3 against NYY at Fenway. This weekend they've taken 3 so far against the Yankees. It's been fun to watch a team win consistently. It's also fun to see them have bases loaded, no out and actually score multiple times. It's fun to see a team that isn't AA. It's fun to watch a manager that doesn't manage like a machine.
It's been fun.

I still tune into the Twins to see how bad the pitching is going to be. But I spend more time in the forum than watching the Twins.

I just don't want to get to the point where lawyers are involved. Maybe we can still reconcile?

TO, you've caused Minnie and Paul to shed a tear or two, but I can't say that I blame you at this point. I have a feeling, however, that you will never stray too far from your first love...home is where the heart is, baby!
