Late coming to the thread  , was listening as i was cleaning up after the weekend festivities now that everyone has gone back to their lives ...

 

I don't care about Vazquez 10 million a year contract , there's alot of people that don't like Vazquez for that reason  , yes he hasn't hit much but that defense and his smarts has given the twins some winning games ...

I don't know how many games Vazquez has won for the Twins because of his defense but their out there , sonny gray picking off man on second in the playoff is one of them , because Vazquez  called for it and it worked , he got a guy at third base this year , he plays smarts and is maybe over paid , but I'm sure glad we have a very capable catcher ...

Someone will sign him for next year for that reason, just not the twins.

...sorry...I am glad that it is the last year of his contract. He is a decent defense player...but renewing a 10 million contract for a player with a BA in the mid 100's just is not a great idea.

Welp there it goes. 

2-1 series win vs. the Rays was OK but the Twins certainly needed a sweep to even pretend they were going to be a competitive team moving forward. Daunting series against CHC looming to put more dirt on this team's rapidly cooling grave.

The forum last night didn't like hearing our outfield was wanting. But Trevor (bless him) struck out with one out two on last inning. And this here opened some floodgates.
