D-Hawk Provisional Member Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 "My biggest fear is he runs too fast to left or right field and runs into another outfielder and falls on his hip like Bo Jackson did, essentially ending his career." In the past 4-5 years, they have learned a lot more about what they can do medically with hip injuries. Bo Jackson's injury nowadays probably wouldn't be as serious. This is good to know. On one side it makes sense to keep him if he can be healthy, and on the other, it can be used as a way to leverage more in a trade. Teams would definitely want someone with potential, and can be medically cleared to play.
pab Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I'm still confused how Buxton is injury prone because Bo Jackson dislocated his hip playing football.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Think we could get Verlander for Butera and maybe Worley? Or is that too much?

Jeremy Nygaard Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Think we could get Verlander for Butera and maybe Worley? Or is that too much? We already packaged Butera back to the Mets. Worley, Clete and a PTBNL?

silverslugger Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 You didn't see it cuz you weren't at that CR game and I was. Byron was actually eating a hot dog and sippin' on a coke out in CF right as that lazer was hit. He proceeded to very carefully put both down in the grass before sprinting, then flying, then extending, then grabbing, and finally landing.......now get this, with ball in glove, the dog, well, gone and gingerly returning to his coke in shallow centerfield.

Did his red cape get in the way at all?
