John Bonnes Site Manager Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I suppose I shouldn't be surprised thta looking at the pitching matchups, things look a little bleak in all 3 games. Fortunately, there is also offense to consider. For instance, despite the Twins sending out a 6.12 ERA tonight, they're favored today (very slightly) by Vegas.
Oldgoat_MN Verified Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I think that Pelfrey's recent outing factor into that as well. He does seem to be getting stronger. And the White Sox are not exactly a major offensive force.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I hate the WhiteSox. You should type that in size 7 font to match how I feel about the White Sox.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I have to Coach a game tonight so I'll miss most... If not all... Of the game thread... Chief... You can have my proxy to post for me... Ashbury didn't do a good job last time. Remember to throw in a Glormism when Glorm finally arrives.

ashbury Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Hammer's back in the lineup and gets a single. Hope this means the R&R he got is all he needed.
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Nice to see Arcia take the first two pitches.

snepp Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Uh-oh, Trevorsie can't hit with runners on base, it's science.
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Uh-oh, Trevorsie can't hit with runners on base, it's science.Reverse jinx?
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Take that, first inning run differential.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I had a good feeling when I saw that Plouffe was coming up with three runners.
snepp Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 See, further proof of his inGibson, you don't just go around contradicting science like that.
snepp Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Reverse jinx? Dumb luck? (on my part, not Plouffe's)
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Uh-oh, Trevorsie can't hit with runners on base, it's science.Confirmed. Runners on, no home run.
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Did someone put Ulllger back at 3B?Wouldn't be the first time that Waldo ran a stop sign.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 OK, Arcia...this running past third and trying to score an unexpected run is only fun when it actually works. Nice try, though. I wonder if he thought the ball got through?
big dog Verified Member Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 4-0 lead in the first! My whole world is shaking at its very foundation.
