Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I love the replay of Deduno... Pumping his fist and yelling Yeah!!! The Twins need more emotion like that.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 He sure gunned it in there!!!Did I mention I am seeing this on tv!?!?!? Yes you did!
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I wish Glorm would have told us which restaurant so we could all look up the menu and advise him on selection. Here is the restaurant's website. I have never been there.
Benchwarmerjim Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Bert with a 'dropping the barrel of the bat' and you know what, it actually applied !
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 It is so nice to have Plouffe back. I have always thought that if Plouffe could get more focused and stay focused he could be an all star.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 They are not showing the game on Extra Innings so I am forced to watch the college world series.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Here is the restaurant's website. I have never been there. I'm going with the Braised Short Rib... With a side of Mac and Cheese.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Mauer is paid 23 million dollars a year. Right now I don't mind.
mikeee Provisional Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Mauer is paid 23 million dollars a year. Right now I don't mind. That's what I was going to say!
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Mauer is paid 23 million dollars a year. Right now I don't mind. We're almost up to a mil per RBI.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 That's what I was going to say! lol... I gotta find some new material.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 We're almost up to a mil per RBI. Chief Chief Chief... You know that RBI is a meaningless stat.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I'm going with the Braised Short Rib... With a side of Mac and Cheese. I suspect that wife will make me order from the dog menu. Now that I look at it, the dog menu looks pretty good.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 A little defensive inspiration.
PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Why did Sanchez leave in the fourth?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Why did Sanchez leave in the fourth?I'm not sure, but in the 2nd inning Gladden was already speculating Sanchez wasn't right health-wise. He missed his last start if I'm not mistaken, so I imagine he was either on a pitch count or wasn't looking good. If they said anything on the radio at the time he came out, I missed it.
mikeee Provisional Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Why did Sanchez leave in the fourth? All they said in tv land was that he had missed a start and was pitching after 11 days.I think he had about 75 pitches when they pulled him. Twinkies were hitting him that inning.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I suspect that wife will make me order from the dog menu. Now that I look at it, the dog menu looks pretty good. We don't have Dog Menu's in North Dakota. Our Dogs fend for themselves in this dog eat dog northern land.
mikeee Provisional Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Oh yeah. I guess he missed the start because of a stiff shoulder.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Chief Chief Chief... You know that RBI is a meaningless stat.Spoken like a true stat geek, bri. Or Mauer's agent.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 We don't have Dog Menu's in North Dakota. Our Dogs fend for themselves in this dog eat dog northern land. Our dog would starve in the wild. He won't even eat a bagel unless it has butter AND jelly.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 SWMBO is summoning me to leave. Go Twins, and have fun!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Spoken like a true stat geek, bri. Or Mauer's agent. Yep... 7% of his contract and 15% of his endorsement revenue. I made enough to buy me a new 2013 Dodge Dart... Fully loaded... Thank you very much.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Plouffe having himself a decent game.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 SWMBO is summoning me to leave. Go Twins, and have fun!"SWMBO". In honor of Glorm, I'm going to try to decipher that. I could go the easy route...She Who Must Be Obeyed...but where's the fun in that? I'm going with Single White Male Boyfriend, Oscar.
