Trov Verified Member Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 We are over a month into the minor league season and our top two prospects have not played. Jenkins did get 1 at bat, but that is it. I have not heard any update on either Jenkins or Lee and any progress they may be making to returning to action. I was hoping to see Jenkins and Lee both tearing it up at this point, but cannot even seem to see when they may get back into action.

chpettit19 Community Moderator Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 I don't remember what the update on Jenkins was, but I think there was something out there at some point recently. Lee has/had a herniated disk in his back. Here is some info from April 23 about him. I don't think they've provided much new info since. Likely not much to report as he works his way back at this point. Oldgoat_MN 1
bean5302 Verified Member Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 Canterino - Rotator cuff strain. Started throwing program a couple weeks ago. Prielipp - Continuing rehab from UCL repair. He'd be a longshot to see pitching competitively before August. I wouldn't even expect him to be throwing bullpen sessions prior to next month. Lee - Herniated disc. Rehab plan was 2 months to run through May. Jenkins - Won the Powerball, probably. Retired. We can't have nice things. In all reality, standard hamstring strain. 6/8ish weeks, typically. Puts Jenkins into the very earliest window of maybe we could see him soon. My expectations, anyway. danielp19653, D.C Twins, Oldgoat_MN and 2 others 5
