nova_twins Verified Member Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 What percentage of PAs and innings have even be played by Major Leaguers? Team ST record is irrelevant. Individual performance is mostly irrelevant. Spring stats have been looked at extensively and their predictive value is very limited. There's also the fact that some players are doing very well. Jeffers, Kirilloff, Julien, Buxton to name a few. Correa looking better. Brooks Lee for depth. Zero reason for panic. If someone wants to worry a little about Wallner, well, ok, he was already projected to be one of their weakest starters by WAR. Looking forward to games that actually count. Jerr 1
FilthyMogwai Verified Member Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 I was concerned the minute they announced that they were cutting payroll. I could just as easily see a 78-84 season as I could an 85 win season. Meanwhile, the Guardians' pitchers are back and healthy and the Tigers have 6 viable starters and appear to be on the rise.
