Just turned on the game and peaked at the box. That's a "1" next to strikeouts for KC, right? It only looks like a 7?

Hes been doing good... 1 Mistake to Worth.

Watching the Nats' broadcast.

They just informed us Jamie Carroll is one of two players to have his uniform number retired by the AAA Ottawa Lynx.

Kinda cool, I guess, but I gotta believe most ballplayers would prefer not to have spent enough time at a AAA stop to get their number retired.

He also probably wishes that if his number was honored enough to be retired... It wouldn't be with a club that is also retired.

Yeah... dang It...

I watch Zimmerman play D... And Lawrie as well... They help teams a lot.

It's approximately 196 degrees outside in Tucson. After factoring in the wind chill.

It's been raining non-stop here for the last 12 hours or so.

You've had a lot of rain there, no? My sister sent me a picture of the falls a couple weeks ago.

Yeah we've had a lot, but just a few miles south of here they've had 3x as much. They got 10 inches over 48 hours on Memorial weekend.

Artist's rendering of possible snepp commuter vehicle for the coming week:

Not watching the game, so it's hard to tell if Gardy is still embracing the

'one batter too late' philosophy of starter/bullpen management. At least

they stranded the yellow dot at third.

So you are going with Costner... I was thinking Snepp should pairing up animals and collecting them... But Water World is OK.

I wouldn't have started the 7th with Corriea, but I also think it was a reasonable decision. The leadoff single was smoked, but the base hit that scored the tying run was a chopper off the plate on a good pitch. Bad luck and iffy defense didn't help, but can't blame that on Correia.

Don't like pinch running for Morneausie.

It's a pretty light rain, it just refuses to stop. :)

Not getting my fence painted today, or tomorrow even, it'll still be waterlogged.

The box score said Correia was cruising to that point, so it didn't seem outrageous that he was still in. Just seems like the Twins starters are giving up one-run leads in the 6th and 7th a bit more often than they should.

Gardenhire is probably so thrilled to see a guy last that long that it's hard to pull the plug. And given how hard the bullpen has been ridden at times, that probably factors into the call. Just please, please, please, no post-game Gardy comments about Correia's divine right to stay in...
