Thanks, I've been on a whirlwind tour as of late, so haven't been around. In fact I'm leaving for Peru after the game.

Things to do in Peru... (That Rhymes)

1. Climb to the Top of the Andes. Look for remains of Airplane and Cannibalism Victims.

2. Demand that everyone in ear shot speaks English.

3. Carve your initials in the Sacred Rock.

4. Go to Lima and pretend you are in Ohio

5. Maccu Picchu Baby!!!

Fine his ass.

Goes without saying.

I rather like it when an opposing pitcher manages to throw such a bad pitch on an 0-2 count though.

Uppercut swing.

Drink.

Serious question: has Bert ever described any swing, ever, as anything other than "uppercut?"

Doumit couldn't have gotten that ball but could he have played it worse... I don't think so...

Doumit... The warning track means the wall is near... Backup and play it off the wall.

There exist right fielders that don't need to do a 360 on the path to the ball and will actually go get the ball in the air. That was not a line drive.

This is not on Doumit. He didn't put RF next to his name on the line up card.

Hmmm....other than "dropping the barrel of the bat," not that I can recall.

Even when he describes the swings at the playground... He notices the trajectory and says it an uppercut swing.

wth is everyone doing here on a Saturday?

I always sacrifice nice days for the Twins... By sacrifice... I mean... I'm not mowing the lawn right now.

It's approximately 196 degrees outside in Tucson. After factoring in the wind chill.

I get to sit on my butt for a bit after a 20 mile bike ride, and some gardening.

Maybe a 10th of a mile, as the crow flies. I live sorta on the wild wild edge of Tucson. Saguaros, javalinas, jackrabbits, owls, coyotes, quail, snakes, lizards, giant river toads in the rainy season.

I drove through Tuscon once years ago and stopped at Saguaro National Park.

Cool... that means... I'm probably 1,822 and one tenth of mile from one.
