If Detroit doesn’t pull this out, is this the worst loss in franchise history?

What? Not even close. They went 0-16.

Neither of these teams look anywhere near as good as last years Eagles team, KC is probably drooling.

That probably means the NFC team will end up winning as 7 point underdogs in the championship.

I actually think Detroit has looked fantastic except for the sudden butterfingers their receivers got

Some of these coaches want to reinvent the wheel at all times. Too smart for their own good

All the best coaches do that though. Shula, Walsh, Buddy Ryan, Belichick. Everyone else tries to do what everyone else is already doing. Innovation and change  is the best way to get ahead in this league.

Their defense stinks too. Has most of the year.

I was wondering when the real Lions defense was going to show up in the playoffs. Tonight the clock struck midnight on their Cinderella story.

Yeah when it comes to schemes, not leaving points off the board

Campbell is paid the big bucks to make these decisions and it’s crazy not a single decision he made in the 2nd half was correct.

Bull. They dropped like six passes. It was execution.

It can be both. Passed up a 48 yarder and a 45 yarder and lost by 3. Both makeable kicks. He cost them that game in Dallas by being overly aggressive too.

Agreed, everyone seems to ignore Gibbs' brutal fumble that was quickly turned into a TD. That was far worse than Campbell getting too aggressive... despite the fact he rightfully had zero trust in his backup kicker. The drops and fumble lost the game (in addition to the defense crumbling), and if the players executed on even one of those 4th downs then it is a different game.
