Detroit -3.5, 47.5, Vikings +166/100

Hopes are dim. Vikings need to win and see Pack lose, Seattle lose on the road to Arizona, and either Tampa Bay or New Orleans lose.

Lots of us seem just fine having the Vikings lose and get a nicer draft position. I’m ok with that too. Win-Win! lol

Lots of games with playoff ramifications today, which we don’t always see in the final week. Packers are win and in. NFC South division is still completely undecided among 3 teams. Buffalo potentially plays a Win and #2 seed or lose and go home game tonight. Fun day ahead if you are an NFL fan.

QB slotting: Starting Mullins, 2 is Dobbs, 3 Hall

Weird stuff: Dalvin Cook was released this week, and picked up by Baltimore.

Yup, I'm still watching, I don't tune out just because the team isn't very good. Pretty sure most fans are that way. Certainly stadium attendance is impacted, but that's just concessions, as the Vikings sold all their tickets long ago, secondary market dealers are the ones left holding unused seats.

Only need four upsets to make the playoffs—Vikings over Packers, Cardinals over Seahawks, Bears over Packers, and one of Falcons over Saints and Panthers over Bucs. A truly tall order.

Just truly awful defense since the raiders game

Yeah, funny how that Denver, Chicago, LV stretch occurred while playing offenses who's QBs are going to be replaced next season.

Just gonna watch and appreciate Hitman and Hunter today. 2 long time Vikings that are probably not on the team next season.

Hunter better be back.

Last several games must be a blast for the “I want to lose” crowd

Good lord let it go. There is no 'I want to lose' crowd, you're clearly trying to denigrate the 'I want this team to be better than they are now' crowd.

There absolutely is a crowd that has wanted to see losses for months

Uh huh, and you make it sound like it's because they enjoy seeing the team lose, and not because they want to see the team build an actual contender.

Because it’s a fool’s game. If getting better draft picks was the key to success, teams like the lions and browns wouldn’t haven’t sucked eggs for decades. Ask the panthers what their great draft spot did for them last year

This team is void of defensive talent. If Hunter leaves, that's on the GM for not dealing him. Or signing him.

Yeah, letting him walk for nothing but a comp pick is inexcusable. With bizarrely re-signing Mattison and then sitting on their hands and waiting until next year with decisions on Hunter, Jefferson and Cousins, last off season sure seemed like Adofo-Mensah didn't actually have a game plan with how to proceed.

There's no historical correlation between where a player is drafted and how good they are. Solid take that I'm sure is backed up by any kind of analysis.

How about asking the Texans what their draft position did for them last year?
