Why Garlick and not Wallner?  Bottom half of this lineup doesn't strike fear in anyone.  Hell, could you say whole lineup doesn't but trying to stay positive I guess.

Ice, stretching, rolling, drugs, wearing a plantar fasciitis boot at night must have done the trick in 2 days time

or maybe he felt guilty for cashing his pay checks and being so bad to start the season

I don't think Wallner would make anyone fear the bottom of the lineup any more than Garlick does.

Questionable lineup against a RHP.  I think I would rather see Julien leading off, Alex playing 1B, Solano on the bench and Wallner playing the OF, but what do I know.  Super interesting to see Correa playing and Gallo still not.

Either way, going to need a strong outing from Varland tonight!

Maybe Rocco is listening to some of our posters and ignoring the spread sheets.

I'd rather see Kirilloff at 1B regardless.

Agreed on Correa and Gallo.  If these guys are going to be sitting so long, I wish they'd just IL them instead of handcuffing themselves with a shorter bench.

Game after game, i keep thinking ?  what is Roccos logic in what seems to be not wanting to play the guys like Julien at Leadoff instead of Solano, and even worse is Garlick mr Lefty killer ? playing instead of a bat like Wallner, Against Gausman , Solano is no better in the field and Garlick . Pleez, ,  ,  Well good luck nice to see Cc In there,  , Can we give Rocco a few days in St. Paul,   And try Gardy Jr.

Kind of surprised to see CC in the lineup. I actually was expecting him to go IL. We need to at least take 2 of 3 against the Jays. A good start by Louie would help, and let's get him some runs!

Bet Correa has direct deposit

At about 200,000 dollars a day, it would be hard to get it in cash.

Maybe he has one of those pay early debit cards so he doesn't have to wait in check cashing lines! 😉

Nah, he's got people that wait in line for him!

Were the Twins unhappy with Julien hitting a leadoff home run? Did Wallner not hit his double hard enough or throw home quick enough? I'm a little confused by this Friday night lineup and hope it works out perfectly.

I'm sure there is a rationale for who is playing and who isn't, but it is really beyond me. The one thing that is pretty near certain is that Gallo is still bothered by the hamstring.
