Buster Olney article on Twins

I agree with what old friend Peter Gammons says: When you think of the Twins of 2013, think of where the Texas Rangers were in 2007 and 2008, and where the Rangers were headed at that time.
Here's the last quote from the article, as the rest should be deleted.

You can't post an entire pay article on the site....that's not cool.

It's like 1/5 of the whole article. I didn't even post all the stuff about the Twins.

But, if it needed to be deleted, that's fine.

What did the article say? I get what it was about but are there any points he made that stuck out?

I guess you will have to become an ESPN insider to get the rest of the article

There's nothing stopping someone from summarizing an Insider article, or even quoting some excerpts, in order to provide for a discussion topic. Full articles just can't be quoted verbatim.

I honestly could care less I just was curious, I dont need to be a sucker and pay for a bunch of opinions that dont mean anything.

if they don't mean anything then why are you curious?

Your like a 5 year old kid that wont stop asking questions, ha. Nobodys opinions mean anything including mine, yes some are intersting and fun to discuss but that doesnt mean I would pay to here them. If they are free then I dont mind reading what they have to say.

It comes down to this: it's just plain laziness to copy and past instead of summarize it. It takes about two minutes to summarize and 10 seconds to copy and paste. Here, time me....

- The Twins progress can be seen in their minors and to some extent in the majors, with the debuts of Hicks and Arcia.

- Miguel Sano is not only hitting like Miguel Cabrera, but he's also concentrating on other aspects of a big league lifestyle, like learning English, including forcing himself to do interviews in his non-native language.

- Meanwhile, the Twins have a second high-upside guy in Buxton, who is not only impressing with his skills, but with his work ethic. "He has treated this like his profession,” said Rob Antony.

- And don't over look Kyle Gibson.

Final quote....

It makes me sad, as I tell my 15 year old, that people wont' pay for things they value. ESPN Insider is great for anyone that likes the NFL draft and MLB draft and lots of real analysis (instead of the mostly regurgitated stuff on the free site). It's not expensive at all.

Thank you John, for both summarizing and showing people how simple it is. Integrity should still means something to us.

Or if you get the magazine subscription, it comes free!

This part of the article made me LOL

But it’s almost impossible to overstate how well the pieces have been coming together in the Twins’ player development, even beyond the emergence of Aaron Hicks and Oswaldo Arcia, outfielders who have made their respective major league debuts this season.

Or, you can pay for insider and get the Mag for free!

For those on a low budget, I have found that one can normally find a lower price on the ESPN Mag subscription than on Insider.
