It's become a cliche to "battle your tail off" but that's what we don't see much of, at the plate.  I liked Buxton's and Larnach's 9th inning work, and Polanco was a little snake-bit with his liner, but then Miranda swung at the pitcher's pitch.  Everyone has to battle, not just a few.
