Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Welcome back, Jorge Polanco! Go Twins!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Good lineup. Time for the bats to wake up. Should be in the 30s for first pitch. Balaclavas for everybody!!!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 I know two players on the Nats. Meneses (from Team Mexico in the WBC) and Candelario from his time in Detroit. This is a team that is rebuilding.
CRF Verified Member Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Hope they have the bat warmers going! BRRRRR! Nice to see Polanco back.

He was a talked about trade acquisition for the a Twins for what seemed like a whole season.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 I love love seeing Jorge's name back in the lineup. Maybe he will be the spark the rest of lineup needs.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Busy sports night in Minneapolis and St Paul. Saints, Twins, Wolves, and Wild all in town and playing. Not enough screens to watch em all!
Jocko87 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Did the Minnesota Twins just activate an injured player, um, sooner than expected?
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Sunday is also a light rail special for those that want to hit the MN sports grand slam… Start at Target Field 1 PM watch 2-3 innings, head to the Saints game at 2 PM for their game. Stick around in St Paul for the Wild game at 5 PM, then take the light rail back to Minneapolis for the TWolves at 8:30.

tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Jorge Polanco has been my favorite Twin to watch since Joe Mauer retired. I'm hoping he returns on fire and puts up 2021 Polanco numbers. He has some big shoes to fill with Julien getting three hits yesterday. I guess everyone knew Julien would be going back to St. Paul though.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Surprised about SWR and Alcala.....

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Fairly confident Julien will hit long term. Glad he got a taste
Robert Floren Verified Member Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Lets go Twins, nip it in the bud. This little losing streak -- nip it.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 For the cord cutters, you can watch the Twins on TV tonight! On Fox 9+
RickOShea Verified Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 I heard the Twins told Kepler to board the team flight at the wrong gate, somehow he figured it out, and still got back to Mpls from Boston.

What a pompous ass. Is he wrong? What year is the better roster?
tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Hey, a real boost with Polanco coming back is that he and Kepler are close friends. Maybe Max wakes up and good times with Jorge and Mx return.
CoastiePilot08 Verified Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Kepler leading off again…just don’t get it. They tried Gallo there in the spring. He’s actually hitting. So why not hit him there?
lecroy24fan Verified Member Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Just now, Jocko87 said: Is he wrong? What year is the better roster? It's the phrasing. He's thinks they've never had an actual big league roster. He was not saying it was better. This is common for him. He has no clue how to make a statement that isn't worded poorly.
