Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Nice consolation prize after losing DeGrom.

Musk21 Community Moderator Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 $86M for 2 years, with a vesting 3rd year option.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted December 5, 2022 Author Posted December 5, 2022 Him and Scherzer both getting paid $43 million a year. Wow.

cHawk Community Moderator Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Justin Verlander has agreed to a two-year, $86M deal with the New York Mets. This deal involves a third-year player option for 2025, worth $35M. Verlander is guaranteed $86M for his first two years with a no-trade clause. That’s quite a lot of money for a 40-year old pitcher. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2022/12/mets-to-sign-justin-verlander.html View full rumor
