Is Rocco the problem?

It has crossed my mind that a big starting pitcher will refuse to sign with the Twins. This is due to the limitations Rocco puts on pitching. It is all well to protect the player's arm but isn't that why we pay them so much money so they can pitch. I am interested if I am the only one who feels this?

I don’t feel that way. If we give them the most money they will come to the Twins.

I at one felt that way too but I have mellowed out and ball player consider other factors geographically points in regard to family & health. &

The coaching staff and FO limited innings for the starting staff because 4/5 of the rotation wasn’t healthy enough or stretched out enough to pitch a traditional starter’s work load. I’m sure the FO and Coaching staff would prefer to take the reins off

Pretty much every good team is doing the same thing to mediocre starters so no, this will not factor into a free agent decision.

Also, Rocco is not the person making these decisions. If there is a problem with methodology, and there isn’t, any free agent choice will not factor in Baldelli, it will factor in the front office.
