IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Is that an example of a former MVP getting the benefit of the doubt?
Jocko87 Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Mauer almost lost a knee in the process.
snepp Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Mauer almost lost a knee in the process. He's got another one.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Hey, you gotta love the human element of the game. Especially the spitting and crotch digging.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Is that an example of a former MVP getting the benefit of the doubt?Morneau tied Drew's laces together? Cool...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 He's got another one. do the Twins trainers know this?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I'm uncomfortable going much farther here with Worley.
big dog Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Hey, Florimon didn't strike out! That's after airmailing the throw to the plate. The Twins are lucky Mauer could even catch that ball, much less make an attempt at a tag. Another weak day in the life of Pedro Florimon, Major League Ballplayer.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Especially the spitting and crotch digging.Yeah, I miss her too.http://cdn3.sbnation.com/imported_assets/492179/roseanne_barr_national_anthem-300x225.jpg
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 do the Twins trainers know this? You mean, the same trainers that diagnosed "bilateral leg weakness" a couple of years ago?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I'm uncomfortable going much farther here with Worley. That Hanging Curve... Drove me into your camp.
B Richard Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 What a shame. I was enjoying this whole beating the Red Sox thing
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 You mean, the same trainers that diagnosed "bilateral leg weakness" a couple of years ago? Yep... That be them
snepp Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I'm uncomfortable going much farther here with Worley. Happy thoughts Chief, happy thoughts.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Yeah, I miss her too.http://cdn3.sbnation.com/imported_assets/492179/roseanne_barr_national_anthem-300x225.jpgThe visuals this evening have been quite impressive, my brother. Quite impressive.
big dog Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Crap. Pedroia hit a 23-hopper through the infield. Two on and Mr. Ortiz at the plate. Fortunately, here comes Gardy. Turn up the music- we're going Duensing.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Phew. Duenslinger. Now the question is, does Gardy let him face Napoli or bring in Fien immediately after?
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I hate squirming around in these late innings.
snepp Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Gardy must have already gotten a nap in today.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I'm uncomfortable going much farther here with Worley. And at some point, you figure Worley is uncomfortable too. If playing bench guys more than necessary to keep them up to speed is a valuable intangible, then so is getting a pitcher having his first good game in many moons off the mound with a nice line for the night instead of going with what's best for the bullpen, etc. as the yardstick for the call.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I'm sick of Coomer. This is not keeping the Twins in the ballgame.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I hate squirming around in these late innings. It's only the 6th. We got another third of a game to go, at least.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Twins have turned a 1-6-3 and 3-6-1 double play tonight. Those seem to get botched a lot.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Duensing Days are here again... As the summer evening grows... I said its alright... You know it's alright.
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Seriously? He's taking Worley out? And now who does he expect to start the "Fire Gardy For Not Taking ______ Out Thread" later tonight? Did Gardy even consider that?
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 It's only the 6th. We got another third of a game to go, at least. By God you're right. Seems late in the game to me.
