Wow,  the first day of hearings was much better then I hoped. Clearly laid out the plan to steal the election with emotional testimony and solid tv bites. Probably doesn't change the crazies but hopefully reminds the rest what is really at stake.

Yeah, much better than I expected. It was all laid out exceptional well. And I was really impressed with Liz Cheney. I really want to hear more, just how deep this goes, how organized it was. This wasn’t just a riot. And the pressure on Pence. Amazed he withstood.

I didn't watch live, but have seen some clips and done some reading on it.  Kinda wish that I had watched now.  Anxious to see how the rest unfolds.

I would imagine that the DOJ has amassed their own evidence? Not sure how that works. But, if Trump is allowed continued influence, this attempted coup will happen again and may end up being successful next time

I believe I read on legal twitter that the investigations' interviews will be public by October or November. And they will turn everything over to DOJ if they haven't already.

I just don't get the loyalty that Donald Trump has on people. He's a selfish, narcissistic ahole, yet has people who will lie, cheat, steal and run through a wall for him. He grifted people out of 250 million dollars and the fools still love him.

The right's fringey lunacy across the board is difficult to explain.  I get some of it from rural white folks (not justified, just understand why they feel that way) but woof.  The degree our population is untethered from reality is startling.

In any other era Trump is already in cuffs.

I think it's because they think they need their own a-hole who's made of Teflon to deal with all the other a-holes on the other side.

I get that, but Trump isn’t that and won’t be that for them. He wants adoring fans who will give them all their money and then he’ll take that and run.
