Just saw that Buck is going to sit/rest again tonight. Looks like this is the way it's going to be the rest of the way.

The front office and Baldelli has mentioned multiple times that Buxton tries to get on the field every single day and they have to rein him in constantly. Baldelli even called him an "unreliable narrator" once if I recall correctly, meaning Buxton always says "I'm fine" while he can't even run down the first base line.

This has been pretty well documented for years now. Buxton obviously wants to play and will do all he can to get into any game.

Do you have information that the swelling in the knee is not going to improve?

Even if this message board was full of medical doctors, I don't think we'd be able to give that information (HiPAA notwithstanding) because none of us are Buck's doctor

Not playing every other day is interesting.  I expect if that maintains we would see a trip to the DL....no?
