Dazzle made it sound like a huge butcher

He’s usually wrong, and he’s wrong this time too

Nobody would have made that play

It was a tough hop, but I think it was catchable.

Not a good throw from Gordon, which in turn helped lead to not a good throw from Correa.

It's bad enough to give up 6 runs to the O's in an inning, but then as a manager to see your team rally back and send that same guy back out there is just baffling.

Bundy reminds me of J.A. Happ.

I was thinking Homer Bailey.

The defense has been bad, but it's going to be hard working around a guy throwing 89 MPH and giving up consistently sharp contact. Reminds me too much of Happ and Shoemaker...

As is usually the case, leaving a starter in to "eat innings" doesn't work.

You end up using the pen anyway, only now you're in worse shape score wise.

This is starting to feel like one of those 2021 games where misplays and horrible luck and bad managerial decisions all come together to sink the Twins.

Let's hope they can rally again!

After Gray is back I want Bundy out of the rotation. Really. I sort of understand how Rocco wanted to save the pen and squeeze more out of Bundy (though I disagreed) but Bundy has now screwed up twice in a row and he doesn't have the track record that would earn him the benefit of doubt.

One of the biggest mistake last year was trotting out Happ and Shoemaker every fifth day until it was too late. Unlike last year, we have better options now. Don't make the same mistake twice.

Not watching but looks like Bundy sucks again.  That has to be deflating for the team.  Make a come back and then watch the same pitcher come out and give up more runs.

Dazzle was a replacement level player that scored a couple big runs in the WS. He would like everyone to think he was a great player and he wasn't.

Bundy may have pitched pretty well his first few starts, but for me, the last two put him at the top of the DFA list.

Rocco just gave away any chance the Twins may have had. I understand last time Bundy gave uo 4 in the 1st and they gave him the opportunity to right the ship. But tonight the Twins answered a 6 spot with 4 of their own, only to send Bundy back out. Not sure of that decision

This Twins team grounds into more double plays than any team I've ever seen.

I agree.  He could have also gotten in front of it better.  He wasn't going to get the out there anyway.

He led off the tenth of game 7 ‘91 with a hustle double on a bloop to center.

I think if he catches it he had a shot. In any case there's no reason to give up the plate to block the throw, in that case he absolutely doesnt get the out.

It looked to me like the ball that Correa threw hit just the lip of the grass, just bordering the dirt. It appears that Sanchez was ready for the ball if it would have hit the dirt - but it didn't, mainly because the throw was offline.

I know Sanchez isn't exactly Drew Butera out there defensively but I don't blame him for what happened on that relay.

Did you see the replay from the outfield camera? The ball went 4ft or more to Gary's left after hitting the edge of the grass.
