Azviking101 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Excited to get some consistent healthy ABs from Sanchez. I really believe he's going to heat up here.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Urshella's bat has really gone cold. Still getting on base at a decent clip, but he isn't driving the ball at all. Only 2 XBH on the year. And man, is he slow.

Azviking101 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Right when I was about to give Celestino some praise... what a terrible jump and he sure does not have Buxton speed.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 I don’t have much faith in bundy being effective all season long

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Justin thinks bundy is struggling because he hasn’t pitched in Baltimore in a long time. lol

He does seem to be learning the OF quickly, but he's nothing more than a 5th OF/emergency MIF. I would be surprised if he survives the roster through the trade deadline. While I kind of agree with you, I would add that if Nick were to be DFAed, there is almost no chance he would be unclaimed. He’s become an infielder-outfielder and he provides speed. I think he was 10-11 stealing bases last year, but is 0-2 this year.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Perhaps it's the O's turn to be the gifter that gives the runs they scored right back.

Guest Guests Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Maybe we should re-schedule Buxton’s “day off” when we have people like Kepler out… idk that’s just me.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 I have to believe the rotation look like this by july ryan gray ober paddack winder

bighat Verified Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Bundy struggling as bad as we've seen a Twins starter all year right now, along with his last outing. The guy seems rattled ever since that Celestino misplay. Shine and fairy dust is coming off Mr. Bundy in his past couple outings. Looks very hittable and doesn't have any control either.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Bundy's defense is doing him now favors.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Lots of hard contact but Miranda has to have that
bighat Verified Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Defense not helping at all. Pretty bad effort all around from the Twins any way you look at it.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Would've been really big to hold the O's to 3. The Twins are still capable of coming back, but they can't afford to give up any more runs.
