Have fewer spring training games been on the radio this year?  It seems like every time I try to listen to one, it is not being broadcast - at least on WCCO.

Opening Day starting lineup with Maeda pitching and Sanó at first? Or maybe Arraez or Cave gets the start in left field. Garver, Sanó, Arraez and Cave all traveled yesterday for the game with the Pirates and aren't starting today. 

 

Tampa's lineup looks to be pretty much made of major leaguers as well.

He got a foul tip on his hand. Looked like they were mainly examining his finger. Also looked like it hurt.

 

Rocco pulled him from the game after that.

Unclear. Waiting to hear an update from the Red Sox announcers, but their focus is elsewhere.

 

Mitch was either hit by a foul tip on the wrist (initial call), or the bat caught him. He was charged with catcher's interference, so that suggests the latter, but the announcers never said that. He sat on the ground for a couple minutes trying to flex his thumb, then was pulled as a precaution.

With the exception of Lewis, who wasn't going to make the club anyway, the team has been extremely healthy, so you just knew somebody would get dinged. I hope it isn't serious with Garver.

I like to think W. in our line up stands for "i know better than to jinx us", but i could be wrong.

 

I look forward to seeing what Kyle does from the 2 hole.

 

And i can't help thinking of the chamber of secrets when i see this short stop in the lineup.
