Twins getting aggressive on the base paths the past couple days. More of this, please. 

 

Agressive at the plate too.

 

I might have missed something, but they saw around 6 pitches that inning?

Oh well, Boston takes a lread on a goofy pop up down the left field everyone thinks will be caught if it is in play or foul if it is not. Turns out to hit the line...

 

Sometimes it bounces that way.

Sorry, only half-watching so didn't notice.

 

The Red Sox announcers are saying this game decides the Mayor's Cup. So something to play for. That last run after the pop-up into the left outfield corner was a fluke and should have been caught by Garlick. A weird one. I'm sure he's not pleased about that.

 

On the other hand, Astudillo has been fun to watch today. Hitting, hustling, and hassling Bogaerts after Bogaerts tried pulling his leg off second base earlier.

They fooled me. Swapped out Sabato. See, SampleSize, how much you and the updated lineups are needed?

Yeah, announcers/gameday updaters are also slow to get the changes right.

 

Either they don't know the lineup if the changes come on the field, or they don't know the position of the pinch hitter/runner.

Albers being hit pretty hard. Not helping his cause.

 

I guess they call it the Chairman's Cup now, since neither team plays within the city limits. Twins have a hill to climb if they're to cop it. I'm heading off. Have a good one, SSOO.
