Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 For 2020, in case of inclement weather, they will just play the game on MLB The Show anyway.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 I suspect they will not play tonight.

South Dakota Tom Verified Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 I don't think the heavy stuff is going to come down for awhile yet. I say keep playing.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Another double header coming up. Oh joy. Another bullpen game.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 I don't think the heavy stuff is going to come down for awhile yet. I say keep playing. It’s supposed to start raining 15-30 minutes before game time and it doesn’t appear it will clear up entirely until late into the night. MLB, due to COVID, is trying to avoid starting a game that won’t go five innings and they don’t want players sitting together in a clubhouse for a rain delay. I still think they won’t play.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 If it looks iffy, I hope that they decide on a bullpen game tonight but that Cleveland uses up Bieber in a game that doesn't end up counting. On the other hand, if it ends up as a double-header, Cleveland might not have to use their bullpen and their starters are scary. If they were in Portland, they wouldn't be playing because you would lose a popup in the smoky haze.
