TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted December 2, 2012 Author Posted December 2, 2012 We could have the top 2 picks from the 2001 draft:cool: Punch that world series ticket. I believe this may be the first in a series of "hey, here's a guy who may or may not be dead" offseason threads.
greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 rather give him a AAA tryout than Shairon Martis, etc..........
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 He's like a lot of others worth a minor league deal. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a cure for a Dusty Baker ruined arm.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted December 2, 2012 Author Posted December 2, 2012 diehard....there is nothing serious about this thread.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 diehard....there is nothing serious about this thread. I'm not sure there's much serious about 70% of the threads posted in the offseason...
Rosterman Verified Member Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Yeah, that would be great....Prior finally having to sign with the Twins. I would like to see him throw to Mauer for just one game.
luke829 Verified Member Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Does he come with an extended warrety, money-back guarantee provision?
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 He had some pretty strong numbers out of the bullpen for Pawtuckett (Red Sox AAA last year). 38 strikeouts in 25 innings... with 23 walks.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Only after we sign DeRosa and his hot wife.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted December 2, 2012 Author Posted December 2, 2012 Let's all pick one obscure player and make a thread about him!
biggentleben Verified Member Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Mark Kotsay - best looking wife in the big leagues. I present this for your review: http://maxcdn.fooyoh.com/files/attach/images/1148/169/613/jamie3.thumbnail.jpg
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Not bad, lacking in the ass though. I have to imagine there is some MLB players with even better WAGS then that. inb4 Dinkelman photos.
joeboo_22 Verified Member Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Prior is not a terrible move, I actually thought the Twins should have brought him in when he was released by the Red Sox organization last year, as he couldn't have been much worse then what the Twins were sending out. As Seth mentioned he didn't pitch bad last year, and the year before he almost made the Yankees organization out of ST. Its not the worst person to be talking about inviting to ST, but at the same time, IDK if he is worth a thread on his own, unless there is actual news to report on him.
