Interesting piece over at FanGraphs where Zack Littell discusses the two different sliders he used in 2019 and the possibility of adding a third(!) in 2020.

Wow, it sounds like he can make it break sideways, downward, and anything in between, and tunnel them all. That would make it very hard to barrel up! I am going to be watching his pitches' movement closely this year.

He didn't cut it as a starter in AAA or MLB. Reliever is his role. Nothing shabby about that, as he can be a pretty good one if he continues where he left off last year.

Littell is exactly the kind of deadline selling that I want to see from this FO, every season.

I love sliders, but he throws them +50% of the time as a reliever, starters can’t do that or they’ll blow out their elbows. I also don’t believe his off speed pitches are very good. I think the bullpen is his place going forward, and I’m fine with that. I think he could end up being a multi inning, back of the pen monster.
