If the Mariners punch it in, recover the onside kick, and score another TD, do they take the tie and overtime or go for two and the win in regulation?

I gotta say, all these football references have had me dying for the last 3 hours now.

Austin Adams looks pretty promising. Very live arm, not much command, but he throws just enough strikes to get guys out.

Just an ok win, wasn't sure about those last 3 innings when they only scored 1 run.

I gotta say, all these football references have had me dying for the last 3 hours now.

 

Maybe my last one was milking it a bit, but honestly, how many chances in the past decade have we had to break out the football references with a 14 point.. er, run lead?

 

I expected them to be better offensively this season than they were last year...  just not better than last year and the year before... combined.

Had to leave this thread early, due to the time change. Going from PST to CST tends to scramble things.

 

Fortunately, the game was, as I expected, pretty much in hand when I hit the hay. I was pretty confident with the score being 15-0 at the time I checked out.
