Seems like bull*** games don't mask your lack of pitching talent, it simply exacerbates it. 

 

But hey, if it's going to be either 4 runs in the 5th or 4 runs in the 1st, if it's in the 1st I am free to go off and do something else.

May was going great in the bullpen until this opener thing. Whatever we do is the wrong thing. Now it looks the big guy is hurt bad - bringing the cart out.

Yup, that would strike fear in any pitcher's heart. Oops, but then, the dreaded first pitch pop-up, after 2 straight walks, with Verlander missing badly. Oh, not to worry, tho, that power-hitting young prospect Gimenez will pick him up. Oops, again...

If this a thread, I'd like to say I don't like the lineup at all. Molitor should be fired.

I know there has been talk over the years about the ‘specialization’ of relief pitchers and getting them to pitch in different roles, but I think it’s really bad to all of a sudden tell them they are starting. I think that’s a good way to mess with them and potentially ruin them.

I get home and turn the game on just in time to watch Sano get carted off the field. Yikes.

Molitor is like my mom's dog ... you can give him all the shiny new toys you want, but at the end of the day he's going to take one look at them before going back to the crusty squeaky toy that hasn't done anything in a decade.

We've really jerked around May in general. If I'm him, I'd be hoping for an opportunity with another organization.

I don't know if you noticed but this team is brutal.

 

Maybe we can invent some semantics to mask our cleanup hitter. No good starting pitching option? No problem, have a reliever start and call him an opener. No cleanup hitters on the roster? No problem, bat Grossman 4th and call him a _____________(fill in the blank).
