Bio (from Wiki):  Blayne Chanlar Enlow (born March 21, 1999) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Minnesota Twins organization.

Enlow attended St. Amant High School in Ascension Parish, Louisiana.    Before his sophomore year of high school, he broke an ankle and his pelvis in a car accident. He returned to play baseball in his junior year.   During his senior year, he played for the USA Baseball 18-and-under team.    He committed to attend Louisiana State University (LSU) to play college baseball for the LSU Tigers.

 

The Twins selected Enlow in the third round, with the 76th overall selection, of the 2017 MLB draft.    He signed with the Twins, receiving a $2 million signing bonus, and assigned to the Gulf Coast Twins of the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League.   He spent the whole season with GCL.

ETA: 2021

 

 

 

 

Regarded as one of the best curveballs in the organization and a fastball that can reach 94mph.      Enlow projects as a mid-rotation starter.    I feel his floor is quite high and can't wait to see how he pans out.

Haven't seen any sort of update on the injury lately.   News out of Cedar Rapids hasn't updated since 4/22

Working his way back from a back strain, Enlow started for the Kernals on 5/5 with a line of:

2.0 IP, 4 Hits, 1 Walks, 1 Runs (1 Earned), and 3 strikeouts.threw 41 pitches, 30 for strikes.  Game Score of 46

Sorry for the delay in updates.     Been on vacation and laptop is on the fritz.    Since my last update, Enlow pitched on 5/24 and turned in a very good start.    His line was 6 IP, 1 Hits, 4 Walks, 0 Runs (0 Earned), and 6 strikeouts.   Threw 82 pitches, 49 for strikes

I am going to be at the game (double header) Tuesday and believe Enlow lines up to pitch while I am there. I AM PUMPED! I really hoped to see Enlow pitch and will also be keeping a close eye on Baddoo, Lewis, Kirriloff, and Rortvedt. My luck, they are all moved to Fort Meyers over the weekend.

I would love to see him get his innings per game up as he is averaging just over 4 still...Maybe a complete 7 inning game on Tuesday?
