Blake Verified Member Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Baseball is back! Boston and the Twins will go at it on this fine day. What, it's Twenty below where you're at? And? Yes, there are those who think the groundhog signifies the end of winter and that Spring is just around the corner. But those of us who live in the real world know the only true sign that counts is: Pitchers and Catcher report to camp! With that, here are the lineups. No idea if they are accurate, as they're from MLB.com. Well, probably accurate for about, oh, two innings. Boston: 1. Mookie Betts RF2. Xander Bogaerts SS3. Hanley Ramirez 1B4. Christian Vazquez C5. Blake (now there's a fine name!) Swihart DH6. Jeremy Barfield LF7. Rusney Castillo CF8. Ivan DE Jesus Jr. 2B9. Chad De La Guerra 3B Pitching: Hector Velazquez Twins: 1. Byron Buxton CF2. Jorge Polanco SS3. Max Kepler RF4. Eddie Rosario LF5. Eduardo Escobar 3B6. Kennys Vargas 1B7. Robbie Grossman DH8. Mitch Garver C9. Ehire Adrianza 2B Pitching: Aaraon Slegers Play Ball!
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 No TV, or WCCO. But the affiliate radio network (TIBN) is apparently carrying it. And of course, the radio stream should be available to MLB.TV subscribers (and last year's subscriptions are still active through February).
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 "Aaraon Slegers?" You spelled Yu Darvish wrong.
youngpadawan Provisional Member Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Slegers is the right handed soft tossing Randy Johnson.

ashbury Verified Member Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 I think we just might be seeing a preview of our getaway-day lineup!

ashbury Verified Member Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 You're expecting Aaron Slegers to make the team?If he does, he won't appear in the lineup unless playing an NL team.

At least I remember canceling the renewal right away, even before the end of the previous season, but continuing to use the service for the duration.

I may get an audio only subscription so I can listen at work, but then I’ll go with the Extra Innings cable package. When I streamed the game through my tv with the MLB package the feed was so behind it made it frustrating. I hate not getting the post-game stuff, though, but so be it. I’ll move back to the area eventually and then it won’t be an issue. I also liked having it at work. But I really am rarely able to watch at work and ended up only listening anyway, so ...

I bought the Dish network baseball package and it comes with access to mlb.tv. I don't remember what I paid for the season but I want to say it was no more than $140. As for mlb.tv lag time and other issues, it always appeared that if I used any feed other than the Twins feed, I had no problem with streaming the game live.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Hmm, I stream any Twins game I watch on MLB.tv and don't recall lagging issues on their feed.
