Game Thread: ST game #2 - Twins @ Red Sox, 2/25 @ 12:05pm CT

Not sure if this will be 'radio-ized' or televized at all ... and this will be a quick 'get it started' game thread as the game will be starting in minutes. But, announcement ... feel free to get your ST work in in prep for the regular season and start up a game thread (1st come 1st served in ST threads by time stamp).

Thankfully the game is televised on MLB Network for all you cable heads. Had to listen to the Twins broadcast last night. Registered for MLB TV once again. Die Hard Twins fan posting from Trinity, FL. I'll be going to 6 games this Spring Training. One of the many perks of living in the spring training area of Florida. I'll be sure to post some pictures from the games as well. Glad to join the community. Hopefully Phil throws well. I was pleased with Gibby last night.

I don't think that's crazy at all. If that happens, I don't think it will happen right away, but who knows.

Yeah, he isn't exactly starting off to hot. Looks like he was leaving some stuff up in the zone that first inning.

 

Glad to see Park hitting well. I wouldn't be suprised if he makes it over Vargas as well.

I'll be going to six games this ST. Next saturday against the Blue Jays. The monday night game against the Pirates in Bradenton. The sat game against the Red Sox. The thursday game on the 23 agains the Phillies in clearwater and saturday the 25 in Sarasota against the O's. And the last Monday against the Pirates in Bradenton. If any of the posters are going, it be cool to meet any of you. To bad the Twins don't play the Rays in the regular season till September in Tampa.

Contact Chief ... he has mentioned about possibly going to the game in Sarasota on the 25th.

 

So far I'll be at the games in Ft. Myers on the 21st (v Phillies) and 24th (v Orioles). And I'll try to get to the rest of the games during the time I'll be in The Fort (until Apr. 1).

Cranberry-ish? Lingonberry jam is used as a garnish or relish with some meat dishes. (Well, it's a Scandinavian thing.)

Park has had a productive at bat everytime he's been at the plate these first 2 games.

 

I'll add that he got behind 0-2 on a couple of questionable looking strikes to boot before coming through with a Sac Fly. 

 

It was an impressive AB... IMO
