MLB Trade Rumors: Tommy Milone Signs with Brewers

According to the article, Tommy signed a one year major league contract with the Brewers.  No terms were listed but the contract is not fully guaranteed.

I imagine it would be a split contract if he needs to go to the minors. No amount reported? He can be a good pitcher. Plus, he's a lefty, so there is life in your arm, especially if you can transition to the bullpen. But as that back-of-the-rotation guy, he is worth the gamble. Especially on a one-year deal. The Braves are hoping he has a resurgence and they can flip him, no doubt, at the trade deadline, for a prospect. If you have the roster space this can be a no-brainer.

I wonder if "non-guaranteed" simply means it is subject to the same termination pay clause as arbitration eligible deals (so the team can cut him by March 15th and only owe him one month's salary).
