Trevor Hildenberger

I suspect about 3-4 of the ST invitees are not with the team yet.

Some of it is just to get a few more than the 40-men on the roster. And you need catchers, of which the Twins have a low supply.

 

It is an opportunity to get in some extra work and open some eyes. But the majority of the guys in the organization right now will drift out once minor league camp opens.

 

Can't wait to see what minor league free agents the Twins do sign.

 

As well as the eventual makeup of coaching staffs and minor league coordinators.

There are 40 on the roster. I added 12 non-roster guys currently in the organization. I missed Ben Paulsen, so that would be 13. 

 

Most teams usually have 60-62 guys to start spring training, so I would think there'll be at least eight more minor league signings with invites to spring.

With the World Baseball Classic going on, I expect there will be extras if we lose services of some guys due to the WBC,  (Rosario, Vargas, E. Santana, Sano, etc.)
