Then, about 10 years ago, I just got it all buzzed off.  Loved it.  Went home and took blade to it.  Loved it.

 

When I got the basic training haircut I was I looked like Tweety Bird.  Some head  shapes just don't work with the shaved look.  I do cut mu own hair, though - #8 all over, then #4 up the sides and back, then #6 to taper between the two.  Easy.  No appointment needed.
