That was Sano saying "don't send me down".

I think Sano is young at heart and carefree (judging from the movie made of him years back) and so he needs a father-figure to guide his energy and concentration. Let's trade for Joe Maddon.

That was Sano saying "don't send me down".

You got me swingin' goin out of my mind.

You got TD thinkin' that they're wastin' their time

Don't send me down, no no no no no.

I'll tell you once more, before I add to the score

Don't send me down.

They rank one after the other?

They are all players with more PAs for the Twins this year than mega prospect Byron Buxton.

That's right folks, minor league free agent pickup Robbie Grossman has more PAs than Buxton.  Gone before most Minnesotans could spell his name-Park, more PAs.  Add Trevor "how I spent my summer vacay (on the DL) Plouffe, to the list.  If Danny Santana gets five PAs today, him too.

That's your argument for Molitor must go?  That Byron Buxton who is hitting .193/.247/.315 hasn't gotten more plate appearances?

MOLITOR MUST GO!

With Polanco at SS today and Sano at 3B.

I'm almost 100% certain that Buxton is heading down to Rochester.

Yes.  A thousand times yes.

If he's in Minnesota, he needs to be in the lineup.  EVERY. FREEKING. DAY.

I don't care if Robbie Grossman is putting up a 2.000 OPS.  Starting him ahead of Buxton is how you perpetuate 90 loss seasons.  And an indication the manager just doesn't get it.

From Phil Miller's Sunday Insider 6/18:

"Xander Bogaerts was a bust.

The Aruban infielder, signed by the Red Sox as a 16-year-old in 2009, arrived in the big leagues briefly in 2013, moved into a full-time position in 2014 … and by the end of his rookie season had impatient Boston fans ready to discard him and move on. He flailed at pitches out of the strike zone, couldn’t get on base enough (a .297 on-base percentage) to use his speed, and had problems throwing the ball to first base.

Jackie Bradley’s rookie season was a .198 disaster, with 121 strikeouts. Two months after Mookie Betts’ debut, he was batting .228 and hearing that he was “just another Bradley.”

No, building with prospects isn’t easy."

Sanos pop-up the first to hit the trop roof in fair territory, ever. Roughly 220 feet high according to Phil Miller's teitter

This game is proof why we could not afford to lose Santana without a huge return.  Gibson, Santiago, and Duffey are mediocre at best.  Berrios has huge potential, but right now is struggling and lacks confidence.

Bradley is exactly who Buxton should be watching right now.

Bradley looked just like Buxton does now. Upper Cut Swing... no contact and trying to pull everything.

Bradley leveled his swing out... and Surprise... Boston has a ball player.

First thing I thought after Sano's blast: We need more runs.

Considering Grossman and Buxton don't play the same position should pretty much kill this sentiment.  But....are you really telling me that the "manager doesn't get it" by playing the guy leading the team in OBP and 3rd in OPS+?

It's the same thing that I think when someone hands me Ice Cream!!!
