That was pretty hilarious. I didn't know a professional athlete could be that uncoordinated/unathletic.

One should never combine calculus and alcohol. It's dangerous to drink and derive.

Can't argue. Each of these guys don't really have anything to prove in the MiLB anymore. Boston was patient with Bradley Jr. and Bogaerts. Worked out pretty well.

 

Twins will need to be patient with Berrios, Sano, Buxton, Duffey....

Agree, these guys are still kids. Baseball doesn't jive too well with this instant-gratification focused society. Sano coming up and putting up video game numbers last year just makes it that much harder to watch him go through adjustment periods.

 

Sano is an interesting case right now, though. You have to wonder if he would be performing this poorly if he just DH'd all year. IMO, I don't think so. I think they really screwed with his confidence this year. He's at the point now where he is trying to force it.

 

As for Trevor May, that guy needs to get with a sports psych. Although, it's kind of fun to watch him get all worked up and unravel every other night.

I just saw Kevin Jepsen about to pitch for the Rays. Didn't the Twins trade a good AA pitcher for him? Dr. Hu comes to mind...

A .269 BA and 115 k in 335 PA are rarely described as video game numbers ;)

 

Heck, even Kepler has 15 HR in 249 PA. Sano had 18 last year

Don't worry, someone will find Kepler's weakness. Probably about the time Sano figures out how to lay off those off breaking pitches.

He didn't look very good last night on low outside pitches. Has he already adjusted, though? :)
