Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Talking about our buttons and Sanos of the future?Ha, thought I edited it before anyone saw
spinowner Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Sano nice grab of that popup. As usual
big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 There's a nice catch over the dugout railing by Sano.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 LOL. And now Sano stuns everyone in the building and watching on TV by catching a popup 5 feet out of play.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 Buxton and Sano...if this is the future. YuckarooI thought he meant Buck-ano.
big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 The pop up thing is hard to understand, I agree. I don't know if he's not concentrating or what. But the double play ground ball to his right on the next play is a play Plouffe can't make anymore, period, and I have not heard a peep about that from anyone in the organization, all while being constantly reminded by this organization about how terrible Sano is at everything. Sorry, we can take this to the forums instead of here. I've seen so little of Plouffe lately I don't have any comment on his defense. I've given up on him as a part of the team anyway. I wonder if Polanco should be taking some balls at third.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Sano bobos pretty much vindicated forever after catching that popup
big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 I never thought Price would make it to the 6th inning. That (apparently) bad call on Nunez at second base was a big, big play.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Regarding price...as the late great Denny green said...seems as if we let him off the hook
spinowner Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Now that's a seeing-eye single. Right between Price's legs.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 Rosario hits the 5 hole.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Speaking of Denny green...how did Jerry burns outlive him? Heck, how did BUD GRANT outlive him?
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 OK Buck, 3rd time against Price. 1-0 count. Men on base. Let's see something here.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 And Buxton delivers! Good stroke w/ two strikes.
big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 OK Buck, 3rd time against Price. 1-0 count. Men on base. Let's see something here.No hit, but a nice line drive Sac fly. I'll take it. And he knocks Price out of the game. It's about time.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Thankfully sano is no longer in right field and his errors are no longer costly
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Thankfully sano is no longer in right field and his errors are no longer costlyhe has another throwing error this game, right?
big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 OK, my man-crush on Max Kepler is really getting out of control. I just assumed he was going to hit a home run there and was disappointed it was just a triple.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Think the Red Sox miss Betts?
big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 he has another throwing error this game, right?Yup.
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 The game is ridiculous. Certainly not a 'how to' clinic of baseball play.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Vargas placed that perfectly did he learn that at Rochester?
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 The game is ridiculous. Certainly not a 'how to' clinic of baseball play.Backyard baseball. Play until it's too dark to see the ball.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 The game is ridiculous. Certainly not a 'how to' clinic of baseball play.Yep everyone on the field has had their moment
big dog Verified Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Wow, that was a terrible play by Holt. He went into the slide and went past the ball- looked like he missed it by at least 6 inches. Nice to see Vargas running on that and making it to second. This game is not over, the carousel of Boston runners on base not withstanding.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Backyard baseball. Play until it's too dark to see the ball.winner
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 what happened to Betts?Hurt his knee in the 4th? inning yesterday.
