Twins honoring Prince tonight

This entire Prince tribute reminds me of Kramer not wearing the AIDS ribbon.

Let each player should decide if they want to use Prince music. The purple wrist bands are completely unnecessary and undeserving. The singing of 'Little Red Corvette' only makes me ask why did it take until he died?

Nothing like a little pious judgement for good measure.

Yeah, if Prince died from an OD, it completely invalidates his multiple disciplinary talent, gender-bending progressive nature, rise from the poorest neighborhood of the area, and his 1980s push to get women into prominent musical roles.

Great role model if he died from drug overdose.

I almost clicked report... then decided to continue to pour it on. I doubt Prince himself would want to be considered a role model. He lived his life his own way and created a path to acceptance for people that never existed. He broke stereotype for what a "man" was supposed to be while becoming an icon. Belittling him if he did overdose just shows ignorance about what addiction really is. Opinions like this are why the war on drugs in American has been a colossal waste of billions. Addicts need help, not criticism and told-you-so's.

I don't care what Prince died of. I wasn't even a huge fan (he was a little before my time). I'm thankful about what he gave our society in his life. The tributes to him are evidence that he was well loved throughout the nation.

FIFY. This is kinda amazing. Even Bowie didn't see this kind of outpouring.
