And the subs are in. After getting a bit of a tune up, the starters are getting a rest up for tomorrow.

Nolasco in midseason form I see

There was no way of knowing that Ricky would be a raging tire fire.

Yuck, okay ... why do people still use chewing tobacco?

So that they have something to spit on Nolasco, duh.

Consider the lameness of the humour--   yes, it is past the witching hour-  1:22 AM.   Haw!  Actually got up at 6AM today, had a couple of buds over (Red Wings fans) for breakfast and mimosas and watching the Wings/Wild game-  730 AM start.  Drunk by 8...  and still ticking!

Man ... you'd fit in in Chicago on St. Pat's Day. Drunk by 8am.

What happens if Tonkin is lights out in the bullpen and Nolasco continues to get crushed like this? We can't stick Nolasco in long relief in that case.

Sano Ks.

Beautiful drag bunt to 1B by Santana.

Lol ... but I was referring to players on the Nationals team, not the Twins.

Just heard a rumor that the Twins players will go on strike unless Nolasco is released before Opening Day.
The infielders are citing safety issues related to the rockets being fired at them by the opponent's batters.
The outfielders are asking for a higher mileage rate while running after bombs and blasts.
The catchers are citing boredom, complaining that none of Nolasco's pitches ever get to them.
The other pitchers are afraid of getting killed by line-drives into the dugouts and bullpens.

I forget.

In clutch situations, is the clutch engaged or disengaged. I know how it's done, i just never was clear on the proper terms...

That's a confusing question, because don't you push in the clutch to disengage the gears? So would the clutch then be engaged?

Both are correct, it depends on perspective.

When you release the pedal, the clutch "engages" the transmission.

But you personally are "engaging" the clutch itself when you press the pedal, as in interacting with it.

Tomato, tomahto.

Sounds right...

Glad i am not the only one who finds it complicated.

Whatever it was, glad Rosario found the next gear there.
