And the Twins score! Mastro was on the move and able to score from 1st on Santana's double.

After three, Twins are up 1-0. Phil Hughes doing his job so far, giving up only one hit and inducing many ground outs and two strikeouts thus far.

Hughes having to work for this inning so far ... lotta pitches being thrown.

But he gets it done with no score.

And the Mastro-Santana combo scores another run. 2-1, still in the top of the 6th.

Mastro walked, stole 2nd, Santana doubled.

And the Twins have something going ... Nunez singles, Santana to third, and Dozier drops a hit into center, scoring Santana. Score is 3-1, 6th, no outs, runners on 1st and 2nd, Arcia at bat.

Park!! Nice single hammered to left, Nunez scores from 2nd, and Dozier and Park advance on the throw to home. Twins 4-1, 1 out, runners on 2nd and 3rd ... pitching change for the Yankees.

If the Twins win ... interesting to note that we have 4 on our team today that were Yankees 'cast offs' playing their likely opening day roster.

So... Park might be a pretty nice pick-up.

Looking good so far. I'm hopeful. We'll see come July. :)

And ... another run scores ... not sure how this one will be scored ... infield hit or an error.

I know it's spring training and all, but always nice to be beating the Yankees.

Good point. Listening to Yankees radio...Joe Girardi was in the booth and had nice things to say about Murphy.

Late to the game.  Who's that in LF for the Twins that let that ball drop in front of him?

Travis Harrison.

I see by the Yankees Opening Day lineup, that Aaron Hicks is not in it. (OF= Gardner, Ellsbury, Beltran)

Apparently we traded a backup RF (Hicks) for a backup catcher (John Ryan Murphy).
