Parker Hageman Site Manager Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Plan your skip days at work/school accordingly for the day games. Saturday times are still up in the air. Keep this in mind while snow falls all over your land.
DAM DC Twins Fans Provisional Member Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Very very unhappy...since my best opportunity to catch Twins is in DC or Baltimore...Twins visit twice...both in April...it is very cold in April...especially opening day...
amjgt Verified Member Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Milwaukee mid-week in April. Makes no sense.
amjgt Verified Member Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 What's the point of having these rivalry series if you schedule them at the worst possible times? 12:10pm on a Tuesday in April. LOL.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Wow, the Twins don't play IN Chicago that first week, or in April at all. It seems they usually do and it's usually really cold. But so sweet that the last games of the season will be here. Yay for that! But before the regular season begins and I plan any 'skip' days, this is the schedule I'll be planning for!
amjgt Verified Member Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Longest road trip of 7 games (3 times). Not bad.
Sarah Verified Member Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Would rather have them play Atlanta in 2017 so we can go check out the new stadium and go to a Lookouts game. Oh well...
Reider Verified Member Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 The Twins used to play the Blue Jays in August at home, which made a lot of sense because kids are out of school and many people are on summer vacation (especially teachers). This allowed for a lot of Canadians to travel south to Minnesota to watch the Blue Jays and do many other things (e.g. shop). It's poor planning to host the Blue Jays in may. This is the one thing I'd like to see fixed on the schedule. Move the Blue Jays back to August when Canadians are on summer vacation.

Reider Verified Member Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 I don't know about you but I go to Minneapolis to see the Twins play. Yeah, I do too. But it's difficult convincing people to go to Minnesota to watch baseball as most people here are Blue Jays fans. I don't know too many Twins fans up here.

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 So either Cleveland or Seattle for the Pub Crawl?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 So either Cleveland or Seattle for the Pub Crawl?Cleveland please.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 So either Cleveland or Seattle for the Pub Crawl?I think they should move the pub crawl to Chicago for the last games of the season.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 I think they should move the pub crawl to Chicago for the last games of the season. I'd make that drive to see a competitive team. Best thing about Chitown is that the WhiteSox following is so fair weather that it will probably be a stadium filled with Twins fans.
