ashbury Verified Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Game postponed. Make up at 12:10 tomorrow as a split doubleheader. It is supposed to be great out tomorrow.Good. I hope Pelfrey gets some great outs.
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 That, my friend, is a simple matter of arithmetic. I would have said "logic", but I suppose if you start at Peano's Axioms, arithmetic is pretty much a subset of logic.

This, on the other hand, is simply logic and nothing else ... I think. If all Bloops are Razzies and all Razzies are Lazzies, are all Bloops definitely Lazzies? edit -- I'd love to hear Chief answer that one.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 In keeping with the Sports Bar, a Politician puzzle: A certain convention numbered 100 politicians. Each politician was either crooked or honest. We are given the following two facts: • At least one of the politicians was honest. • Given any two of the politicians, at least one of the two was crooked. Can it be determined from these two facts how many of the politicians were honest and how many of them were crooked? But who's relating the problem? What if it isn't the honest politician. Food for thought, anyway... I got thrown by yes/no question tied to the numerical question.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 I thought of a head scratcher... (at least for me, which is to say, it's a real question i don't know the answer to) Which came first, the chicken, or the chicken dinner?
