Yeah ... my favorite 'new' thing is all the Hawaiian poke bowls we have now at various asian restaurants. It's like ... salad with fruit and fish (sushi) ... I could eat that for every meal.

Agreed, some great places here in Portland for that.

Heh ... and lest you (well, others, not your specifically, because I'm sure you got it right) find yourself sounding as uncultured as I did ... it's not pronounced 'poke' like 'pig in a poke' ... it's pronounced po-kay.

This is the saddest news I've read today: 

 

Bacon reserves are at a 50 year low!! We need more bacon!

This is literally the easiest problem to solve in the history of mankind.

 

Put bacon on top of it.

Certainly sounds fitting.

Snakes are the worst. My cousin had a pet snake growing up. I refused to go anywhere near that thing.

Happy Groundhog Day! Reportedly Punxsutawney Phil saw its' shadow this morning, so six more weeks of winter..... Boo.

My grandpappy's birthday! He's been gone more than 50 years, so it's a little late to send him a card.
