It's great seeing Jim Perry. I grew up with his son Chris. As much as I hate living here, I had some cool neighbors.

I grew up next door to Carl and Dee Bornhorst. They were pretty nice.

I always heard that the Bomhorst's were salt of the earth.

My Neighbor was Mayor Reeves. We used his sidewalk as a goal line when we played football.

Mr. Sloan's yard was our endzone.

The offense is sputtering. Hunter is one AB away from the .240's. Remind me again why we can't have Arcia on this team?

Cuz he has options

You could even buy it from him at his grocery store.

I lived next to an elderly widow! She was not very nice at all.

But who then will mentor?

Our football field must have been bigger than yours.

But then again... I was pretty close to Canada growing up.

Neither was I, which made the Bornhorsts all that much more admirable..

I don't know if that double to left-center was catchable, but Hicks had a chance to make it closer if he hadn't, I dunno, lollygagged.

Mrs Bornhorst's rose garden was our short porch.

I still laugh every time I come home to visit Dad. You can still see a square outline on the garage door. In the spot where I had black electric tape to represent a strike zone.

That tape was probably on the garage door for a couple of years. And you can still see where it ate away at the paint... 30 years later.

Might be able to top that'un. The back wall of our brick garage was bowed inward. My dad never said a word.

Today... My kids will break buttons on their x-box controller.
