Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 So, Vargas threw to 2nd to get an out.....think Mauer noticed that from the bench?
Hawkeye12 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Buxton is leading off against Sale? So much for hiding him in the 9 hole against good pitching It sounded the other night like he'll leadoff against lefties and hit ninth vs. righties.
James Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 So, Vargas threw to 2nd to get an out.....think Mauer noticed that from the bench?I think Joe was too busy eating Kemps.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 It sounded the other night like he'll leadoff against lefties and hit ninth vs. righties. This is such overly simple thinking, it hurts my brain to use it that little.....
Guest Guests Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Got home from the MWL ASG in Peoria about noon. Had to decide between watching the Twins/Sox or going in to the office for the afternoon. Despite having to listen to Hawk and the Sox broadcast, it really wasn't a difficult choice.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I see Buck is having a little more trouble with Sale on the hill as compared with Mr. Danks.

James Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I see Buck is having a little more trouble with Sale on the hill as compared with Mr. Danks.I think everyone is having a little more trouble with Sale than they did with Danks.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Checking back on the PbyP, it looks like Sale had a hiccup in the fourth. I guess three will have to stand up. Hughes seems to be 2015 Hughes, so I would call the lead uncomfortable.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Author Posted June 24, 2015 I don't like the White Sox.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I see Buck is having a little more trouble with Sale on the hill as compared with Mr. Danks. Time to revive the fork thread.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Looks like Buck will struggle to get over the Buxton line today. And he's helping Sale the most to another 10 SO game. Rookies. Whaddya gonna do? EDIT ADD: Not complaining. I like Buxton a ton. He brings an excitement that leaps from the field to the stands through the TV camera to my house and interwebs.

70charger Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Nice shot by Robinson. Don't care if it was an error or not, I'll take that second run against Sale any day.
James Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Kenny Vargas Scores all the way from first. That is not something I think we'll hear too often.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 The White Sox defense is even worse than my high school's recreational team!!
70charger Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I have a very choppy feed here with my crappy internet, and all I'm seeing is Buxton getting into his batting stance, and then when the feed jumps ahead, another strike on the board. He just struck out and I didn't even get to see the ball cross the plate once.
70charger Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Do we feel comfortable with a 5 run lead with our bullpen?

James Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Do we feel comfortable with a 5 run lead with our bullpen? I do. Hughes is only at 84 pitches. He'll be out there hopefully through the 7th, so that helps.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Kenny Vargas Scores all the way from first. That is not something I think we'll hear too often. Did Multi-K hit an HR?
big dog Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 If the Twins hold on, they will win and Buxton won't strike out for the fifth time. Those are two Good Things.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 with 6 earned runs and 8 hits off sale in 6-2/3 innings, brunansky's job is probably safe for another day ...
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I was pretty sure "he's a lefty, Buxton should be fine" was not a good thought.....
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Good sign. Webb pitches almost exclusively in White Sox losses.
James Verified Member Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Did Multi-K hit an HR?Nope. He had to actually run the three bases. All of them... in one play.
