Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Recent years? How about ever? Thank goodness.Heh. Well, I'm a bandwagon fan. If they weren't in the playoffs I'd pay them no attention. My smoothie today is 1 c milk, 1 c mixed rasp/black berries, 1/2 c oatmeal
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 14, 2015 Author Posted May 14, 2015 3-0 Tigers after one. Now it's time for the Twins to strike back. I predict that will take until at least the 4th...or until we bring Hunter into this game. Time will tell.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 It's just three runs. Get 'em back.
SirLoin Verified Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Nice jinx by the radio broadcast team..... Did Provus have to mention that Pelfrey hadn't given up a first inning run all season? Too much BBQ tofu I think....

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Well, you may have been wrong about the Cardinals, but you'll get your money back for that one. Not that I want you to or anything. What..................................................the........................................hell......................................are we talking about?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 What did I tell you about the rum.?.....Doctor's orders. It doesn't mix with the meds. But I am seriously going to add caramel and rum to the banana one when I'm through with this awfulness.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 So much for that whole 500 words thing...... You had me up until Patrick Sharp, dnrtr. jk, nice job.My thoughts exactly You lost me at Patrick Sharp. But the you won me back at Mauer's twins!!! But then you lost me again at the dog show. And then you really lost me at the mouse poop...
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I think I should have used only a 1/4 c oatmeal. So much for experimentation

James Verified Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I don't like this game so far. Someone hit the reset button and start this one over.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 14, 2015 Author Posted May 14, 2015 I think I should have used only a 1/4 c oatmeal. So much for experimentationYou should have left that out completely. It sounds kind of gross. Maybe you should try another and keep on going until you find the perfect recipe.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 A little chewy is it?A bit, but it's not too bad.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Well, I'm needed back at work...........thank God.

The point in making smoothies is not to improve on kale...nor is it to disprove on the smoothie. The point is to improve on the smoothie and forget the kale. Elementary, my dear James. Elementary. Enjoy life to the fullest.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 The Twins are setting up the Tigers for a big comeback, just like the Tigers did to the Twins.

Yeah, I've got a great recipe for a veggie smoothie using kale, spinach, carrot juice, avocado and ginger root. And I use fresh frozen spinach and kale so that the smoothie is cold and a bit thicker. Don't need to add ice cubes then for that, if that's how you like your smoothies.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Well, okay now ... CMON ON TWINS ... TIME TO BAT AROUND THE ORDER ...
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I should experiment with beets ... carrot juice, beets and kale?
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Cory Provus just congratulated Mike Pelfrey. I suppose not giving up a run is a good thing, but I'm not sure that loading the bases qualifies as a "nice job".
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 14, 2015 Author Posted May 14, 2015 Try raw meat with basil and oregano.

The point of adding kale to a smoothie is to disguise the taste while leaving a person with all of its delicious nutrients.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I've never understood why anyone would voluntarily drink smoothies. I want to chew my calories and enjoy them. I don't want smoothies, I don't want purees. And as you all know, i don't want soft eggs. What is the matter with TEXTURE? I want the crunch in my veggies and the pulp in my fruit.

I mean, I usually pat myself on the back when I do that, but I also usually vow not to let that happen again. And I'm not talking about pitching, because I'm not a pitcher, just life stuff.

The veggie ones I use as a side to some kind of meat serving.

Someone suggested adding caramel and rum to something the other day. I am thinking that could be a universal suggested and added to anything.
