formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 multi-tasking messed me up. I was talking to my daughter and tying at the same time.Haha, I know how that goes. Tying...the game? Well, if we're losing, I hope we can not only do that but more.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I'd rather listen to Hawk when the Sox lose than listen to Dick, Bert, Cory or Dazzle during a Twins win. Ah, but the real kicker is whether you can stand Hawk when the Sox are winning. I prefer mute most of the time, win or lose.

I prefer mute most of the time, win or lose.My pet peeve is being forced to watch games on MLB Gameday. I rush to TD and beg for updates from people who actually saw it, and would you believe it, TD is more up to date than MLB! Oh, and my other pet peeves are intentionally ripped jeans (though I'm sure Doz could pull 'em off just swell), talking with your mouth full, digging in your ears, and blowing your nose in your napkin. Ew. Just eeew.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 And the Twins broadcast today starts with a PR tribute to Hunter. Calling him the cornerstone of the team in the 2000s and the one who transformed our team from nothing to something. Then the broadcasters said the Twins felt that Hunter had a lot left in Hunter baseball wise. And, like some others, they then said the last two days have proven the Twins right. How dare they?! Celebrating good things, and trying to generate interest in their product.
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Pelfrey on the mound? Might as well put the W in the books right now.

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 CBU 0-0 in the middle of the 2nd. Nice getting out of the 2 runners dilemma efficiently.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I'm probably going to get sent to the sports bar for this post, but doesn't this target practice look tricky? :shoot:
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Is it just me or does Vargas remind you of Ortiz?

I think about 90 % of any negative feelings I might have for Torii coming back is how some people in the media genuflect before him. There are worse signings, and he could still have things to offer, but he is not the second coming of some baseball god.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 If this is you saying "Huh?" My answer is, "I need Brock to add clapping hands to our nice little collection of emoticons." This one's called "cool" and this one's called "B," so I think we can replace one of those with an applauding emoticon.
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 SAFE! Where's the umpire emoticon making the call??
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I've seen enough for today. That'll get me through to tomorrow.

Would not surprise me in the least that a good chunk of people believe in that. Twins were smart to sign him though, from a PR standpoint.
